Planting trees for Matariki

On June 12th Bailey Road School celebrated Matariki (Maori New Year) by planting native trees in our newly developing Nature Trail.  Three children were selected from each class to plant trees for each class.

  1. We had a special breakfast for our teachers at our school but I have to say that I like this idea even more and a nature trail would be a very good idea for the school. Important to document it to, maybe in a few months we could have updates about how the trail and the trees that you planted were growing! We're going to add you to our class blogrolll at Melville Intermediate, if that's not okay can you leave us a message to let us know. Have a great day.
